Norvel Pelle’s second 10-day contract ended on Wednesday, but it didn’t take long for him to sign his next contract with the Knicks. Not long after the New York Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks in overtime on Wednesday, the Knicks and Pelle agreed to a multi-year deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Pelle made a good impression with the team and maximized the minutes he saw on the pitch. He saw more playing time after Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson were injured. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau praised the 6’10 ”center for the extra work he did.
