The Knicks had trouble shooting against the Jazz

The New York Knicks were simply outmatched by a younger Utah Jazz team on Saturday night, losing in a 121-106 upset. Utah snapped the Knicks’ four-game winning streak and improved to 4-12 while New York fell to 9-7.

The Knicks came into this game with one of the NBA’s most efficient offenses, but they failed to make a basket against the Jazz on Saturday.

New York shot just 39 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three. They were getting clean shots early, but they couldn’t knock them down. Karl-Anthony Towns, who entered the game shooting over 50 percent from the field and from three, had his worst shooting performance yet at just 6-of-19 from the field and 1-of-9 from three.

Jalen Brunson also struggled, shooting 2-of-9 from beyond the arc. Mikal Bridges couldn’t find his rhythm, shooting 3-of-15 from the field and 1-of-7 from three with just seven points. Bridges was benched late in the game in favor of Cameron Payne.
