The Knicks completely ignore several All Star free agents

The New York Knicks certainly do not start among the favorite teams for the playoffs in the 2022/23 season. The predictions would have been different if at least the Knicks had closed for the signing of Donovan Mitchell who instead signed for Cleveland.

So far the Knicks have limited themselves to signing Jalen Brunson and retaining RJ Barrett and Julius Randle. In addition, the Knicks don’t seem to want to show interest in several former All-Star free agents.

Carmelo Anthony, LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin are three big names still available that could all be interesting assets for the Knicks to add to their roster before the 2022-23 season begins, but it doesn’t look like any of these veterans are on the radar of the squad.

According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Knicks are not any of these veterans “a good choice for now” and New York should show no interest in signing any of them in the weeks leading up to training camp.
