The Knicks can spread space with the efficient DiVincenzo making half-court decisions

In 2023-24, the Knicks boast the second-worst assist percentage (58.4%), but have been nearly 3% better at 61.1% over their last 15 games.

If Brunson finds difficulty with opposing defenses and Julius Randle with his consistency, DiVincenzo could be the ideal option to make dynamic plays with swing passes. His effective field goal percentage of 57.2% leads the Knicks among all non-centers. Opposing teams will have to come up with schemes to handle his efficient shooting.

New York is fortunate to have a third scorer of his caliber on their roster as they look to advance past the second round for the first time since 2000. He can make the difference they’ve been missing to provide stability and consistency alongside their two All-Leaders Star.
