Stephon Marbury recently warned the New York Knicks about trading for another elite scorer. Marbury, known for his strong opinions, gave compelling reasons why the Knicks remain balanced across their roster when he spoke with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson on Wednesday:
“You’re going to have two or three guys that are going to take most of the hits… I think it would be disruptive…” Marbury said. “Adding another piece, a guy who has the same defensive mentality, but who can score the basketball but isn’t a prolific scorer. I think this might help… Normally this happens when we give those guys stupid trades and then someone comes along and then everything gets messed up”.
