There is no doubt that Derrick Rose was the best creator and shooter. Sometimes, even the best defender.
It’s hard to change what works, but statistically the Payton-led starting line-ups aren’t. Rose is the most dynamic player and is best suited to Randle and RJ Barrett, who need space to operate. If Thibodeau hasn’t already noticed, he will soon.
Rose will likely be the Knicks’ point guard in the second half of the season.
