The New York Knicks officially announced their 2020-2021 preseason schedule. The team is expected to play four games, two away and two at home.
They kick off against the Pistons on Friday 11 December in Detroit at Little Caesar’s Arena. The Pistons will play in Detroit again on Sunday, followed by a couple of home games later in the week against the Cleveland Cavaliers. These matches will be played on December 16th and 18th respectively. The program’s goal is to limit travel and exposure to account for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NBA will soon release the first half of the NBA regular season schedule, which will be just 72 games. The second half of that schedule will be revealed later in the season, so the NBA has the opportunity to adjust to the problems that arise (lost games, COVID infections, etc.). Training camps will begin opening on Tuesday 2nd December.
