Precious Achiuwa knows everything about New York City. He lived in the Bronx for several years after arriving in the United States and played at St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark before spending his final season at the central Montverde (FL) Academy. He trained in New York for the project with Kenny Miller. And his older brother, God’sgift Achiuwa, played for Steve Lavin at St. John’s.
Now that he’s on the verge of being selected in the NBA Draft on November 18, Achiuwa says it would be a “blessing” to play for the Knicks.
“I think it’s a blessing to be able to participate in an interview with the Knicks because of their history and where they are,” the 6-foot-9 Achiuwa said Tuesday in a Zoom call with reporters. . “Since I’ve lived in New York for a long time, it would be a blessing to represent the home team.”
