Recent rumors suggest a Knicks reunion with Kristaps Porzingis might be an interesting idea, and SNY NBA insider Ian Begley said he wouldn’t be surprised to see such rumors crop up during the offseason.
“It wouldn’t surprise me. I think any kind of bad blood between the organization and Porzingis is gone. Time heals those things and it’s a different regimen too. I wouldn’t be shocked,” said Ian Begley.
Despite this, however, Begley would go on to say that “there are probably other players who would head the Knicks priority list before Porzingis,” and suggested that his reading on the Washington Wizards fullback’s current employers is that they’re not necessarily interested in breaking their foundation right now.
