New York Knicks trade up to get No. 23 pick in draft from Utah Jazz

The New York Knicks are moving up in Wednesday’s NBA draft, acquiring the choice of the Utah Jazz at No. 23 in exchange for selections n. 27 and n. 38.

The Knicks now hold the No. 8 and n. 23 in Wednesday’s draft, a first for the team under new basketball operations president Leon Rose.

Jazz will also send the Knicks draft rights for 2008 second round winner Ante Tomic, 33, who is not expected to join the NBA.
