New York Knicks might be the only team that could be a good fit for Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook had a disappointing stint of games in the Orlando “bubble” for the Houston Rockets.

The small-ball Rockets team could not get past the second round, as the Lakers closed the semifinals series in 5 games.

Despite the fact that there is no indication that “Russ” may leave Houston, an NBA executive believes the New York Knicks will be the perfect fit for Westbrook now.

According with Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report) “The [New York] Knicks might be one of the only teams that could be a fit for Westbrook,” the executive continued. “Not sure if there are any others.”

The Knicks seem desperate to add a star to the roster as they try to return to profanity, after a long rebuilding process. Picking an MVP and 9x NBA All-Star could be the way to go for a franchise that is struggling to win constantly since the departure of Carmelo Anthony.
