NBA, Toronto Raptors considering Newark, NJ for home games

The Toronto Raptors may have a temporary home next season. Due to COVID-19 concerns, Canada has placed strict travel restrictions on international travel and could force the Raptors to hold matches at an alternate location.

The Raptors have reportedly explored several cities across the United States. These cities include Louisville, Nashville, and Tampa Bay, among others. However, New York Daily News reporter Stefan Bondy points out that Newark may also be on the horizon.

Newark is located in New Jersey and in close proximity to several Atlantic Division opponents. The city is home to the National Hockey League (NHL) New Jersey Devils and Seton Hall.
