NBA Rumors: possible deal of Giannis Antetokounmpo to Knicks

Despite being snubbed by their main goals last summer, the New York Knicks still haven’t given up on their dream of adding a legitimate superstar to the roster. The next free agency may not be as studded with stars from the previous offseason, but rumors are circulating that a lot of big names will be available on the commercial market this fall. One of the most intriguing targets for the Knicks in the NBA 2020 offseason is the MVP in charge Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks have already told everyone in the league that they have no intention of making Antetokounmpo available on the market this fall, but if changes and a different path are adopted, the Knicks are one of the few teams that could make them an interesting offer. However, the Knicks should pay a king’s ransom if they want to bring the “Greek Freak” to New York. According to Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz, the Knicks should use Mitchell Robinson or RJ Barrett as their main commercial chip to convince Milwaukee to conclude a successful deal.

With Antetokounmpo offering almost the same Robinson skill set, they would probably prefer to keep Barrett on their list. In the commercial scenario proposed by Bleacher Repo rt, the Knicks would send a package that included Robinson, Julius Randle and Kevin Knox II, as well as the choices of the first round of 2020 and 2021 in Milwaukee in exchange for Antetokounmpo.
