The Suns are close to signing a deal with their new head coach. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Phoenix is planning to sing Frank Vogel to replace Monty Williams. Woj reports that the sides are working on a long-term deal.
Vogel has been with the Lakers through 2019-2022 and won a championship in 2020. He has been without a team since getting fired by Los Angeles prior to this season.
For Vogel the Suns will be his third NBA team where he will be the head coach. Aside from the Lakers, he has also coached the Pacers and Magic.
