NBA news: LeBron James will not sit from the start of NBA season

The NBA is pushing for the start of the new season in late December which is just a little bit over two months since the last game of the Finals. Some of the league’s stars are reportedly not happy with that and would like the season to begin on Martin Luther King day (January 18).

The Los Angeles Lakers sharp-shooter Danny Green recently said if the season starts in December, he expects LeBron James to sit out at least the first month.

Sports analyst Skip Bayless is of a different opinion on the subject. He is confident that LeBron will choose to play from the start in order to pile up his stats. The motivation behind that is to have as many records as possible over Michael Jordan.

“I will bet you LeBron will not sit from the start. He will play opening night and play 38 minutes. You know why? He has to. All he’s got left chasing that ghost in Chicago is longevity achievements,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
