NBA News: LeBron James might need surgery, potential return date revealed

After the Lakers were swept by the Nuggets in the conference finals, it was revealed that LeBron James has been playing with a torn tendon in his foot for several months.

The four-time NBA champion might need a surgery to fix the problem. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, James will undergo further evaluations to determine whether the surgery is necessary.

If a decision is made to undergo the surgery, the superstar is expected to be fully ready for the training camp.

This past season James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 35.5 minutes per game at the age of 38.
