The New York Knicks have been fined for violating the NBA’s injury reporting rules.
In a press release on Monday, the NBA announced that the Knicks were fined $25,000 for “failing to accurately disclose Mitchell Robinson’s game availability status prior to the game against the Toronto Raptors on March 27.”
Robinson, who has battled injuries once again this season, was listed as “out” in the Knicks’ game against the Raptors on March 27. He then played, which was his first appearance in a match in more than three months.
