Mitchell Robinson climbs the franchise’s all-time rebounding list

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson dominated on the glass in the early part of the 2023-24 NBA season and reached a franchise milestone in the process.

Robinson had 11 offensive rebounds in the Knicks’ latest win against the Charlotte Hornets, moving him into third all-time in that department in team history.

Robinson (1,116 OREB) surpassed Kurt Thomas (1,111 OREB) and Bill Cartwright (1,112 OREB) with his performance last Sunday. He now trails Patrick Ewing (2,568 OREB) and Charles Oakley (2,580 OREB) for most all-time.

Amazingly, Robinson accomplished the feat in just 302 games. Even more surprising is the fact that Robinson has almost as many offensive rebounds as defensive rebounds (1,310 DREB).
