Miles McBride and the Knicks agree to a 3-year, $33 million extension

The New York Knicks and third-year guard Miles McBride have agreed to a 3-year contract extension worth $13 million, agents Mark Bartelstein and Andy Shiffman of Priority Sports revealed Saturday. This extension, fully guaranteed, will start from next season.

McBride played 9.3 MPG in 40 games as a rookie, then moved up the ranks to appear in 64 games recording 11.9 MPG last season. This year, however, the Knicks’ clogged backcourt has limited the reserve man to under 5 MPG in 19 games played, including Saturday’s matchup against Indiana.
