New York Knicks newest recruit Mikal Bridges is looking forward to the season and playing with his old Villanova team.
“I’m pairing up with a lot of psychos and I’m happy to be here,” Bridges said at The Roommates Show Block Party, according to the New York Post .
Bridges reunited with his old Villanova team, which included Knicks All-Star Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo, with the Knicks.
Bridges was a special guest on Brunson and Hart’s podcast, which was recorded live in New York City’s packed Central Park on Sept. 7.
According to Rosenfield Media Group, more than 5,000 Knicks fans turned out for the live event, which also featured comedy legend Jon Stewart, JB Smooth, former Knicks player and hometown boy Stephon Marbury and a musical performance by Action Bronson.
But Knicks fans were most excited to see Bridges, the newest addition to a team that won 50 games last season and came within one win of reaching the Eastern Conference finals.
