Metta World Peace expressed his desire to become the new head coach of the New York Knicks.
The 2010 NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers wants to make the next step in his career and take over the Knicks.
“I don’t really care, honestly, but I would take it. It’s the only job I want. I’m not interested in being an assistant coach. People is always saying, ‘Hey, why don’t you wanna be an assistant?’ Because I just don’t want to. I want to go straight to the head job,” Metta World Peace said, via Josh Martin of Closeup360.com.
Metta World Peace was revolutionizing pickup hoops until the #coronavirus hit. That's just one of the Lakers champ's retirement pursuits, as he revealed at @BaronDavis' Business Inside the Game (BIG) summit.
