Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban dismisses Kristaps Porzingis’ trade rumors

Dallas Mavericks are not willing to include Kristaps Porzingis in any trade discussion, according to the Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

Appearing on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Cuban said that a Porzingis trade is “definitely not gonna happen.” Porzingis has shown promise since he joined Dallas being a great fit for the Mavs’ franchise centerpiece Luka Doncic.

After missing most of the first part of the season due to injury, Porzingis has gradually found his confidence again. He’s averaging 20.8 points and 8.4 rebounds shooting a career-best 49-percent from the field in 23 games this season.

Rick Carlisle’s squad is 8th in the Western Conference at 20-18 having a 7-3 record in the last ten games. When the report about Porzingis came out, the big from Latvia was having an inconsistent season due to ongoing injury issues.
