Mark Jackson was not left out of consideration for Knicks‘ job – or any other job. He has fans in the organization, although those people were involved before Leon Rose was hired.
Probably, if Leon Rose decides that she won’t keep Mike Miller as head coach for next season, the Knicks who hire Jackson are less likely than the clubs who hire Tom Thibodeau.
But the Knicks have not yet started the interview process. They are expected to start this process at the end of the regular season – or if / when the rest of the regular season is canceled by the NBA.
