While filming “The Last Dance” on ESPN, LeBron James posted a tweet about Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Knicks. Every NBA player loves to play at Garden, everyone knows it, but is there more of this tweet than it might seem?
Man Ain’t nothing like Madison Square Garden! 🏟
— LeBron James (@KingJames) May 11, 2020
What is the meaning of the LeBron tweet? It is not new that the name of LeBron James is linked to the New York Knicks.
James could potentially become a free agent in the summer of 2021, which opens up the possibility for LeBron James to bring his talents to the Big Apple. Obviously, at the moment there is not much promise with the Knicks, but the Knicks have a very young and talented player in RJ Barrett that LeBron could take under his wing.
Barrett isn’t the only young player who would benefit from the addition of LeBron James, of course, there are also many other players who would benefit, including whoever chooses the Knicks in this year’s draft, whenever it takes place.
But we don’t know whether or not LeBron’s arrival will take place in New York. We don’t know what’s behind that tweet, maybe nothing.
