LaVar Ball has now said for the second time that he would like his son, LaMelo Ball, to end up with a Knick.
In the “Load Management” podcast on Wednesday, Ball also said that he is confident that his youngest son will be considered for choice no. 1 in the NBA 2020 Draft.
Some league sources believe that the baseball field will try to lead the 18-year-old Knicks guard, although such a move will seem difficult if Leon Rose’s club does not rise to the top four of the lottery.
Knicks with the sixth seed have a 37.2% chance of getting on a lottery that has been postponed since May 19th.
During a recent appearance on FS1, Elder Ball stated that LaMelo would be perfect for the New York market.
“The best match in my eyes is the New York Knicks,” said LaVar. “It’s time for something nice to happen to them.”
