The New York Knicks showed off their 113-108 win over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night with some outstanding passing in the game. It’s commendable to win, and it’s even more so when a team executes on offense like the Knicks did against the Raptors. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau praised his troops for their team effort on the road.
According to SNY, Thibodeau was all smiles for his All-Star guard Jalen Brunson who dished out 11 assists and the rest of his players who benefited from that high-IQ decision-making when shooting the ball:
“Here’s what I like about the way Jalen plays. Jalen is doing, you know, it’s another night with a lot of assists. He had 32 assists for the team. Now he’s 10, 11 every night and he’s creating a lot of good offense for us. So everyone shares that responsibility, reading the game and not holding it back too long,” Thibodeau said of the Knicks creating big shots for each other.
“Just reading. What are they doing? And when you have players that are playing unselfishly and playing for each other, you’re going to get high shooting percentages from that.”
