Knicks, Thibodeau: “We weren’t good at defense”

Barrett, Quickley and Julius Randle were phenomenal. But the Knicks didn’t do enough defense to complete a fourth quarter comeback against the Clippers.

Tom Thibodeau also attributed the loss to the Clippers to a poor afternoon at that end of the track.

“We’ve been under too much pressure from them,” Thibodeau said post-match. “They play very hard and selflessly. I didn’t like how we started the second half. We got wrong with loose balls and long rebounds, allowing them 3-point shots. We have to work hard to be successful. The offensive plan went well, on the defensive not”.
