Julius Randle racked up 32 points and the Knicks thwarted Zion Williamson late, so Dolan could see his team record their first streak of four straight wins this season, beating the Pelicans, 116-106.

Williamson, the new NBA superstar who wandered to the brim with devastating power, finished with 25 points but only scored four in the closing period as the Knicks swarmed him around the perimeter to get the ball out of his hands. He shot 10 for 19 but didn’t hit a 3-point.

Dolan punched coach Tom Thibodeau and some players as they walked off the pitch after the win.

“It was great,” Thibodeau said. “It’s always nice to have him around, I think the players appreciate him. Dr. Lisa Callahan the team chief medical officer was also here, so excited to have her. So maybe they are our lucky charm. He also had Leon and Wes, he was sold out. ”
