Tom Thibodeau has decided to give up on Frank Ntilikina or Dennis Smith Jr. in the role of point guard. After the injury of Immanuel Quickley, Thibodeau did without a point guard.
Asked why he went without a point guard, Thibodeau said: “Alec, in the past he played the point, he had a great first half. We wanted to keep as many shots on the floor as possible to try and create the opportunities we’re looking for being considered. It’s something we obviously wanted to check out. I think the more we do it, the better it will be. “
