Damian Lillard is one of the best point guards in the NBA and could leave the Blazers. Since the Knicks exited the playoffs, there has been more and more talk of his possible trade with New York.
It certainly makes sense for Portland to trade Lillard and rebuild considering their roster structure.
If Lillard were available the Knicks would be in a good position.
The shooting, playmaking, and overall offensive prowess that Lillard would bring to the table is like nothing the Knicks have seen before. Adding two All-Star guards in the same backcourt would create one of the best duos in the NBA. It would be enough to understand the attack zone for things to go well.
