Knicks, the Cavs declare they have the key to winning Game-2

In Game 1 of the playoffs the Knicks mostly neutralized Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley when it counted on Saturday. They outscored the Cavs by seven rebounds on the offensive glass in the second half. As a result, the Knicks had 15 second-chance points in the second half.

After the game, several Cavs spoke about the importance of matching the Knicks’ physical play when they take the stand for Game 2.

“The referees made us play a lot. So let’s strike first and see how the referees react instead of getting punched in the face and just lying down (in Game 2), said Darius Garland. “I think this is the mentality we need to have: strike first. See what the referees are doing, see if they’ll blow the whistle”.
