The Knicks are favorites to trade Paul George. Despite this, it won’t be easy for New York as the Clippers are in no hurry to part ways with George.
SNYtv’s Ian Begley reports that the Knicks have shown interest in George this offseason. However, the team has been hesitant to commit due to concerns about his future health. George was sidelined for substantial portions of each season during his tenure with the Clippers. Indeed, a knee injury ended his most recent season after just 56 games.
The addition of Paul George could instantly turn the Knicks into serious contenders. However, his tenure with the Clippers shows that his success is not guaranteed.
