Knicks take Lakers superstar center in simulated three-way trade

The New York Knicks are still looking to add a center at some point to make up for the loss of Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency. Mitchell Robinson is currently the starting center and the undersized Precious Achiuwa will likely fill in, but concerns about Robinson’s health after two ankle surgeries have prompted discussions about adding a center.

Collin Loring of Heavy Sports proposed a three-team trade that would send shockwaves throughout the NBA. In his trade, the Knicks would take Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis in a trade that would also involve the Golden State Warriors, as a lot of pieces would be moved. Loring’s trade reads as follows:

Knicks get: Anthony Davis

Lakers get: Stephen Curry, Moses Moody

Warriors get: Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, D’Angelo Russell
