Knicks Rumors: Victor Oladipo among the desired trade goals

The New York Knicks are particularly interested in Victor Oladipo and would be willing to part ways long to close a deal.

Marc Berman of the New York Post reports that not only are the Knicks willing to trade players and picks to get Oladipo, they are also willing to part ways with Julius Randle, Dennis Smith Jr. and both first-round picks they bought from the Dallas Mavericks. in trade Kristaps Porzingis to withdraw it.

The Knicks could probably play in the best division of the Atlantic league, but the hiring of Tom Thibodeau, an intense veteran manager known for playing his starters for long periods, and the pursuit of Oladipo could be taken as a sign that the Knicks are trying to speed up their reconstruction. While it wouldn’t completely fix everything, Oladipo would be the best player the Knicks have had in nearly half a decade.

The Knicks aren’t the only ones wanting Oladipo, as contenders like the Raptors and the Nets as well as rebuilding teams like the Suns are all looking to trade for Oladipo.
