Knicks, RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin in a trade for a star

The New York Knicks will likely look to bolster the team’s talent pool this summer and, in turn, improve their chances of success next year.

Considering the club has little wiggle room when it comes to free agency spending flexibility, if Leon Rose and company were looking to add a star-rated player to the fold, it’s safe to assume their best bet to both by executing a trade, and Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report seems to believe there is a deal with the Chicago Bulls that should be considered.

The trade offer reads as follows:

New York Knicks receive: Zach LaVine

Chicago Bulls receive: RJ Barrett, Obi Toppin and Isaiah Hartenstein

Even though the Knicks finished with the fourth-best offensive rating (117.0) and 11 points per game average (116.0) in the association last season, Buckley suggests the front office should still look to improve the club’s scoring.
