Knicks, Rivers and COVID-19: “It’s frustrating to see people joking with those things”

The Knicks have managed to make it through nine games this season without being affected by COVID-19 which is putting many teams in difficulty. The Knicks will receive the Nuggets at the Garden, a team that is decimated with so many players out in quarantine, after Seth Curry was found positive.

“We just have to do our part individually,” Knicks guard Austin Rivers said Saturday. “It’s tough, though. It’s everywhere. Unfortunately in our country people don’t always wear masks. You have the ignorance shown every day, which causes this to be more delayed and more serious. … It’s frustrating to see people joking with those things. We only control what we control and do our part. The Knicks have done a great job of keeping us on track with these things”.
