Knicks, Randle: “We have fun, it’s a shame not to have our fans”

Compared to most of the other Knicks games this season, Julius Randle seemed to have a night off Wednesday. During the first quarter, Randle was only 3 of 10 from the field, as the Utah Jazz seemed to have the right game plan to slow forward power.

Yet by the time the game’s final buzzer sounded, Randle had put up another monstrous performance, scoring 30 points to go along with 16 rebounds and 7 assists, while the veteran helped lead the comeback charge in the 112-100 win. Knicks on Jazz.

“It’s a lot of fun, honestly,” Randle said of the Knicks’ current strong game, as the team improved to 5-3 early on. “It’s a shame we can’t have our fans here to feel the energy of this team, but we’re all out there playing hard, playing for each other, and it’s just amazing, the growth of our team and the confidence we have as a team is fantastic so we just want to continue.

“We are playing hard, playing together on both ends of the floor. It’s really just making my job easier. I’m just able to play and play with my teammates and play with great energy”.
