Knicks, Randle: “It would be great to be a part of the All-Star Game”

The NBA and the players union are reportedly close to announcing plans to hold an All-Star Game and skill competition on the same day, March 7, and Julius Randle is excited about a possible inclusion for the first time in his career.

The 2021 All-Star Game was supposed to take place in Indianapolis, but that city will now host the 2024 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The present talks should move the festivities to Atlanta, with funds raised for COVID-19 relief and historically black colleges and universities, according to ESPN.

“It will be fantastic,” said Randle, who scored 27 points. “From everything I’ve known, it’s to bring a lot of help to a lot of people out there who need it and to HBCUs from what I’ve heard. … It would be great to be a part of it, for sure”.
