Knicks, possible trade with the Pistons for Bogdanovic

Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz proposed that the Pistons trade Bogdan Bogdanovic to the Knicks for Evan Fournier and two 2024 draft picks.

“By sending Bogdanović to the Knicks, Detroit gains control of its 2024 first- and second-round draft picks,” Buckley wrote. “That would mean the Pistons could have the freedom to trade four first-rounders (in 2024, 2026, 2028, and 2030) instead of one. While Fournier isn’t on the same level as Bogdanovic, he offers Detroit another floor gap, a veteran forward to be placed among the young guards, and forward on this roster.

“For a New York team that ranks last in three-point shooting this postseason (28.2 percent), getting Bogdanović would have a huge impact on this offense overall”.

Bogdanovic is one of the best shooters in the NBA. The veteran is averaging 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists this season for the Pistons while shooting 48.8% from the field, 41.1% from beyond the arc and 88 .4% from the free throw line.
