Knicks, possible a trade with JJ Redick

The New York Knicks have been some of the biggest surprises in the East this season.

Coach Tom Thibodeau has the team playing basketball inspired, and guys like RJ Barrett and Julius Randle are exceeding expectations.

Considering the state of affairs, it is not surprising to hear the Knickerbockers as buyers in the commercial market. And, according to NBC Sports’ Dan Feldman, they’re the go-to destination of veteran sharpshooter JJ Redick.

“He didn’t play well and he’s not happy and he wants to be traded,” Windhorst said, via NBC Sports’ Dan Feldman. “I’d really like to be moved to the Northeast, where his home for the offseason is in Brooklyn. He’d like to go to Brooklyn, the Knicks, Boston or Philly. This has been communicated out there. It has been known for a week or two. “

The connection between Redick the Northeast has already been reported once, with the Sixers, Celtics and Nets all named as probable landing spots.

Now, however, it seems the Knicks are also in the fold, despite not being contenders for the title.
