Quickley remained aggressive to start the second quarter, scoring a couple of triples to continue his impressive run from the bench. Alec Burks also dropped off the bench, turning into an acrobatic and one and finishing with nine points in the fourth while playing as a point guard. RJ Barrett also came to life in the quarterfinals, and the Knicks erased an 11-point gap to take the game’s first lead at 49-48 with less than four to finish in time.
The Knicks turned that around in the second quarter, taking a 56-54 lead over time. Randle had 14 points on the break, while Quickley had 12 and Barrett added 10.
