Knicks, Ntilikina: “We are not interested in predictions or statistics”

The Knicks have had a quieter offseason than some expected after hiring Tom Thibodeau as their new manager.

Instead of signing some of the bigger-name free agents, the Knicks signed smaller names for short-term deals, again making room for free agency next summer.

Meanwhile, Thibodeau will have to deal with what he has on this Knicks roster, which includes fourth-year guard Frank Ntilikina, who spoke to the media on Friday afternoon.

“We don’t really care what people say,” Ntilikina said of people’s views on the Knicks roster this offseason. “We are not interested in predictions or statistics. What we want to do is improve every day on the pitch, improve as a team and complete our goals.”
