Arkansas guard Isaiah Joe may be the best pick in 27th place overall. While his three-point shooting rate dropped to 34.2% during his second campaign, he remains one of the best shooting prospects in the project. He shot 41.4% from center during his freshman season and his 89% free-throw rate last year should remind Scouts of his shooting touch.

Give Joe the ball on the perimeter and he will find a way to put it in the basket. He can shoot out of the grip, in full transition or out of the dribble. The challenge with Joe is preventing him from taking poor quality shots, something the Knicks can train him to correct.

New York spoke with Joe, like many teams, in preparation for the project. Handling where Joe will be selected is difficult, as it is for many potential clients in the next lesson. Some joke like the Arkansas product as a late first round selection, while others see it drop deep in the second round.

For the Knicks, they need to trust their new scouting department and consider what Joe adds to their roster as a low-cost three-point shooter. He also brings a lot of energy to the defense and can use his size (6-foot-5) to match the taller guards.
