Knicks, Mike Muscala could adapt to Knicks

With Mitchell Robinson seemingly down for the count, the center point seems like the most obvious goal for the Knicks. According to Bleacher Report, Mike Muscala would fit well to the Knicks.

The Oklahoma City Thunder player has no real use in Sooner state. With young greats like Moses Brown, Aleksej Pokusevski, Isaiah Roby and Tony Bradley to develop, OKC should be ready to squeeze Muscala from the rotation and this roster completely.

The Knicks should be ready to pounce if that happens. His ability to outpace the court like a 6’10 “center would not only give this frontcourt a different dimension, but could also help get rookie Obi Toppin into trouble. The eighth overall pick is a sort of 4 defensive and 5 offensive, so he would benefit from being joined by someone who can keep the inside in defense and get away from the basket on offense, as Muscala can.

A grand coming up isn’t guaranteed a place in the New York rotation, but Muscala’s unique abilities would help him part ways with the pack.
