Knicks: Knox’s problems in New York

This is the third year in the NBA career of 2018’s # 9 draft pick, Kevin Knox II.

His stats line goes from one problematic number to the next. Its 43.5 / 36.0 / 66.7 cut line is underwhelming on every level. His 1.2 assists per game are canceled out by his 1.4 turnovers per game. Like most of his teammates, he has at least improved his defensive activity, but it’s not enough to cover his offensive limits.

He’s been underwhelmed in each of his first two NBA seasons, and both have received ratings higher than his current rating of 7.5 players, exactly half the league average.
