Looking at Knox‘s defense, there is neither a statistic nor an attribute in his game that has proven to be even an average defender.
As long as Knox proves he can offend him, he has to prove he can contribute to defense.
One way I can see Knox coming is by adding strength in the off-season. Knox has a sturdy build and a physical profile that projects him as a player who can potentially defend himself in the post.
Although Knox spends most of his time on the perimeter, having the ability to switch to great men and match their strength could be an achievable goal for Knox.
If Knox can prove that he is able to defend multiple positions and that he is making defensive steps, he may be a versatile player for the Knicks next season, otherwise his future will be far from the Knicks.
