Kawhi Leonard was impressed with RJ Barrett after challenging him at Madison Square Garden:
“He accepted the challenge and that’s how he gets better. Trying to protect the best players on the field and also trying to attack them. I liked his mentality tonight,” said Leonard. “The sky is the limit depending on how hard he works and where his mind is. I love that he took the challenge”.
Barrett drove on Leonard early in the game and was aggressive during the Knicks’ 14-point defeat to the Clippers.
He finished with 23 points on a 9 for 14 shot, continuing a series of efficient games.
