The Knicks are finally putting together a very good, young team that their fans haven’t seen in a long time and have a superstar in the making in Julius Randle.
Randle, just 26, has improved every year and shows up on the team in every category. He averages 23.6 points per game, 10.6 rebounds and 6 assists per game while shooting 46.3% from the field and 41% from deep. Randle has been particularly in tears of late.
This season, Randle has only lost one game as his stamina helped the Knicks exceed expectations.
With Randle playing at an elite level while showing steady improvement, there’s no reason to believe he can’t be the Knicks superstar moving forward, which is why building around him would be a much smarter move.
