The Knicks won the first round of the playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers to win 101-97, thanks in part to a great night off the New York bench.
New York’s bench edged Cleveland’s by 24 points, 38-14, while Josh Hart led the bench with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting plus 10 rebounds (five offensive) in 33 minutes of play. This was Hart’s first playoff game and after the win he said how great the atmosphere was at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
“Oh man, it was fun, it was a great vibe,” Hart said. “I have to give credit to their fans, they showed off, they were loud, and they supported their team. And of course, you know coming out of Game 1 with a win, obviously, that’s always great.”
