Knicks’ Jalen Brunson continues to dominate

In Julius Randle’s extended absence, Jalen Brunson’s level of play has continued to be the anchor of New York’s offense. Averaging 33.8 points over his last five games, Brunson has been on a tear. In the most recent matchup against the Lakers, despite doubling as a superstar, he still dropped 36 points and ten assists on 48% from the field. Brunson has had an extraordinary journey and is putting the championship on notice game after game. The Lakers took an obvious path to denying Brunson’s touches, and the limited offense will have to be adjusted in the coming week.
